Solid State Drives will put your computer on coffee
Let’s talk about what you can do to improve stability and performance to your current ownership of your computer or laptop, Most laptops now days have few limited options you can have to upgrade and thats bigger hard drive and ram.
Though ram is important but not as much in performance if you have standard cpu otherwise upgrading your ram would be a waste of money. Most graphics card and CPU are soldered to the board so what can you do?
I’m going to assume that you have basic understanding of an hard drive?
Normal HDD (Harddrive) HDDs store their data on spinning metal platters, and whenever your computer wants to access some of that data a little needle-like moves to the data’s position and reads whats stored on it, which have moving parts and creates wear and tear and at one point the hdd you stored up all your important data is gone forever.
New type of HDD came into todays technology and been around for few years but not till recently made its appearance in consumers favorite buy called SSD (Solid State Drive). Basically its no moving parts it’s like a over size ram chip, 10x faster then hdd, 10x reliability, 10x lifespan. Depending on what type of computer you have you standard systems would have a huge performance in application, start up time, write/reads is how fast data can transfer per second. SSD’s are easy to replace and can be used on any laptop but most commonly used on MacBooks and iMacs for video editing and application demands.
